Pacific NW Gathering 8/10

With our get together but a week away, I want to make sure that all
the PNW boxers know the details. We will be meeting at Upper Macleay
Park on NW Cornell Road aroung noon on Saturday the 10th. We'll have
lunch (bring your own,) swap stamps, share clues to those special
boxes placed for the event, and then hit the many nearby trails. A
free trail map of Forest Park is available at Audubon House, just west
of our meeting place or at the Forestry Center beside the Zoo. Hide a
box for the event, bring your clues and bring yourselves. See you there!

Stopped by the park Sunday Evening (late, but that is normal). The map I
got led me to Lower Macleay Park, didn't know there was an Upper. Didn't
have much time to invest, only hid one of two boxes, in a pretty poor place.
Probably need to ask an expert to do a better job. How many clue sheets
should I bring? 100, 200, ???

Eek... I *so* don't know my way around Portland. Can anyone provide a
mapquest type map to the meeting location?

Also, could somone maybe be kind enough to send me (off-list) a cell number,
just incase I *still* cant find the site, and need to call for help ;-)

I am just sooo bummed that I won't be able to make the Portland
gathering! I know you guys are going to have a great time. I had a
great time meeting everyone in Connecticut at the Sleeping Giant
Gathering. And I am really bummed out that I am missing out on a
chance to meet so many of the new letterboxers in the Pacific
Northwest!

I guess I will just have to hide some boxes down in California while
I am there!
